Understanding your Credit

Strong credit is mandatory if you want to build wealth, continue your education, or own property. Every financial transaction revolves around your credit. Your credit score will determine your credit approval, interest rates, application fees, and so much more. Housing; buying or renting. Utilities; deposit or no deposit.

You name it: Credit drives your ability to succeed.

So, do your home work: obtain a copy of your current credit report from all three credit bureaus. Visit: AnnualCreditReport.com, this is the ONLY federally authorized website to issue free credit reports. All three major Credit Bureaus: Equifax, Experian, & Transunion are accessible. They are free, once a year, take advantage of this. A credit score is not provided though, you will have to pay for your actual number.  Look over your accounts, make notes of those that don't make sense, not yours, or just wrong. File a dispute as soon as you can, correct the mistakes.
